Places to Go

Medieval Dinan

The beautiful walled-town of Dinan is well worth a visit. Half-timbered buildings line cobbled streets. Take a walk around the town, wander down to the river Rance for a boat trip, or have a coffee at one of the river bars and just watch the world go by.

Jugon Les Lacs

Just 10 minutes away, is the pretty, quaint village of Jugon Les Lacs. Take a walk around the village, or go a little further on one of the well-signposted paths. A well stocked lake is ideal for fishing enthusiasts, or hire a sailboard, boat, or pedalo. Also, the Outdoor swimming pool with waterslide is great for the kids.

"Weather has been fab. Thanks for the tip about Ile de Brehat - it was a lovely day spent on bicycles. Also enjoyed the Grand Aquarium at St. Malo, Dinan, Dinard and Rennes.

Thanks again, lovely cottage. "
